Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon onion powder or granulated onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder or granulated garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon dry parsley (optional, SEE NOTE 1)
Instructions
- Measure each of the spices into a bowl and stir with a whisk to combine.
- To use this blend as a seasoning, simply add it to a shaker and sprinkle it onto your meal. For a salt substitute, use this blend in place of salt in any savory recipe.
Notes
NOTE 1: Parsley is used to keep the powders from clumping and for color. It is optional to use as it does not change the flavor.
NOTE 2: tripling the recipe, including the parsley, will give you just over 1/2 cup, which fits into a standard spice shaker.
